Located in southern Minas Gerais, in Serra da Mantiqueira, bordering São Paulo, Delfim Moreira is surrounded by hills and mountains, with dominating araucaria woods. Waterfalls are the main attraction at Boa Esperança Farm, where one can find waterfalls as high as 40 meters. The translucent water natural well is an invitation for bathing, with temperature around 20 degrees Centigrade.
The town, surrounded by remains of the Atlantic Forest, favors the practice of activities in the wild. The Barreirinhas Waterfall has crystal-clear waters, which fall down from great rocky formations, and the Buriqui waterfall also has a great well where visitors can bathe. On Serra da Mantiqueira, 1,200 meter high, is the Monastery of Santa Maria de Serra Clara, which was founded in 1957, and whose rustic building is already part of the rural environment.
