Enjoying the good things of life
São Sebastião do Paraíso could not have had a better last name. Known as the “City of Ipês,” it seems as if it was planned to endear the travelers who pass through: the trees of purple, pink, white and yellow always leave the streets colored at any time of the year. But São Sebastião do Paraíso is traditionally known for its coffee and for its hot springs, which for many people have miraculous effects. Whoever tries this coffee while in the hot springs will feel completely reinvigorated. Nearby Jacuí also holds many surprises for travelers. Here is found the artisan cachaças and successful folklore parties that attract people from all over with its Congados, Caiapós and Folias de Reis.
