In three centuries of existence, Minas Gerais retained its historical heritage, cultural practices, their municipalism, its rurality and its rich crafts. The originality of the piecesproduced by artists from Minas Gerais make the craft sector one of the great wealth of the state.



The craft from Minas Gerais is considered one of the most distinguished of the country, ranging from straw to gold, from clay to porcelain, stone soap crystal, leather with tin, not to mention their weaving with different characteristics in each region and the use of regional materials, from wood to mineral.



The talented hands that shape the clay, handle the paintbrush , move the loom, wood carveand sculpt the stone are the essence of wisdom, natural heritage that passes from generation to generation.
