Its name originates from an extinct bird called the jacuapeti, jacuarapá or peru-do-mato, which was prevalent around the time of the area’s conception. Do not miss the waters of the São Clemente spring, and take your time enjoying the surroundings, which include a recreation area, mini-zoo and several viewpoints. Do also take the opportunity to see the Saudade Waterfall, the Primo Raphaeli Park and the Central Lake.
