Delfinópolis is known as an ecological paradise, due to the riverside forests that house a diverse range of endangered species. The municipality’s waterfalls are its main attraction, the most famous of which are the Claro, with four falls, the Luquinha, with three, and the Paraíso, which has six falls. The various springs throughout the municipality provide perfect opportunities for taking a dip. Paraíso Farm deserves a special mention, as it is home to a total of eight charming waterfalls. For those who enjoy walks, the city offers an assortment of trails, including the Casinha Branca, Pico Dois Irmãos, Chora Mulher, and Chapadãozinho. Those seeking adrenaline and adventure will enjoy local activities such as water sports, motocross, canyoning, canyoneering, mountain biking, moto-rail, and off-road pursuits. The city even offers jeep trips across the Gurita Valley, as well as visits to its farms, where tourists can enjoy the taste of local delicacies, witness the milking of animals and watch local cachaça being produced. Also, Delfinópolis is known for being one the cities who are within the area of the Serra da Canastra National Park.
